Rose Quartz Tower
A six-sided polished rose quartz tower (also called an obelisk or point), cut and hand-polished to bring out the stone's natural translucency. Rose quartz's pink tone comes from trace amounts of titanium, iron, or manganese — the exact combination and concentration determine whether a piece reads pale blush or deeper rose.
Hold it up to a light source and you will see the cloudy, milky internal structure that distinguishes rose quartz from clear quartz. In some specimens, fine rutile needles create a star effect called asterism.
Rose quartz is the most sold crystal in the world, and for good reason — it photographs beautifully, works as a décor object even for people who don't work with crystals, and it is genuinely lovely to hold.
